Resource Economy Formalization

A static implementation roadmap for compute, memory, uncertainty, review, and governance resource lanes with no-op dominance and maintenance-cost accounting.

Compute lane

The compute lane tracks the cost of inference, retrieval, validation, and candidate structural edits.

Memory lane

The memory lane tracks stored distinctions, dependency maintenance, indexes, traces, and source-routing burden.

Uncertainty lane

The uncertainty lane tracks ambiguity, unresolved cases, fallback pressure, and contradictory evidence.

Review lane

The review lane tracks human interpretation cost, reviewer queue pressure, and explanation burden.

Governance lane

The governance lane tracks claim status, public wording risk, Unicode authority risk, and source-lane ambiguity.

Viability floor

A proposed action should no-op when action cost plus projected maintenance burden would drop the resource state below the viability floor.

No-op dominance

No-op is a disciplined action when the system cannot afford a structural edit or cannot preserve caveats safely.

Bootstrap credit concept

Early structural formation may need a decaying bootstrap credit that supports initial organization before strict steady-state resource closure dominates.

Maintenance-cost accounting

Every new distinction carries ongoing review, memory, governance, and compute cost; structure must pay for itself.
